Chione

So this is my RPC for this amazing new roleplay group: It's a cat RP based in Ancient Egypt! So cooooolll!
The other RPers are great and have made me feel very welcome there. You should come be kitties with us!
Anyway, here is her info...

Name: Chione (meaning 'Mythical Daughter of the Nile')

Physical Description: Chione has ice blue eyes. Her coat resembles a ragdoll cat, but with some small differences. Her colors are very light compared to most. White paws with ashy brown legs which fade to a light cream colored coat. Her face and head are the same darker ashy color as her legs, fading to a darker gray/black at the tips of her ears. Her tail resembles her ears. She has a horizontal dark stripe running the length of her body, just barely connecting her head and tail markings, which is perfectly symmetrical. She has a white 'mask' pattern on her face, which starts between her eyes and descends downward onto her chest and belly. She has a white muzzle and a light mauve colored nose.

Accessories: Wears a single tail ring, a few inches from the tip of her tail, silver in color with pyramid/triangular shaped ridges all around it, to help reflect light better. She has four piercings in each ear. In total, she wears two turquoise studs, two silver studs, and four silver hoops in her ears. She also has one silver stud in her nose, on the right side. She wears a necklace, which has a silver pendant of an ankh with a pair of golden wings pointed downward. She doesn't wear makeup or facepaint because it would get washed off while fishing anyway.

Personality: Chione likes for everything to be symmetrical, to the extent that it really bothers her if things aren't exactly even. She believes balance is the key to achieving peace. She needs everything to be exactly even. (She has her nose ring on one side 'so just one thing can be a little off-kilter to balance out the unbalance'. *twitchtwitch*)

She doesn't look down on others, but she can be quite conceited. She is smart and very resourceful. When fishing, she often uses her tail ring as a lure to trick fish into biting at it, and then she turns swiftly and scoops them up onto dry land. Then she moves in for the kill, rendering them helpless. Don't underestimate her due to her small size, she is quite strong. She hates it when anything is wasted. She is very distrustful and suspicious of everyone she meets, because she's been betrayed a lot. And she especially distrusts humans. She's not usually a risk-taker and prefers to play it safe, but she will take calculated risks. She can be nosey, as she likes knowing all of the facts before making a decision. She can also be childish and will do what is done to her, reflecting actions almost like a mirror. If someone wrongs her, she will attempt to make them pay, she's very vengeful. This causes her to be hesitant to make the first move, and often she will wait to see what others do before acting.

She dislikes stealing and will only take something if she absolutely has to, and even then she leaves something of equal value in it's place, or as close as she can get. She is honest to a fault, though she tries to remain indifferent and neutral. She will be very blunt with others, which is sometimes her downfall and causes her to be misunderstood a lot. And she has a strange way of talking. Due to her somewhat vain nature, she doesn't care about pleasing others as much as pleasing herself, so she can often come off as a bit selfish, but she only wants her fair share and no more. It's hard for her to get attached to anyone, as she guards her heart very closely. She loves her Faction only because she truly believes in their cause. Due to her sense of balance and justice, she makes for a good diplomat. She aspires to become a Council member someday... And she is very hard on herself when her efforts fall short of expectations. 

History: She hates violence with a passion because it was during a clash between several factions when she was separated from her siblings and her mother, when she was just a kitten... Caught in the chaos, they abandoned her so they could get away. She never knew who her father was and was too young to remember much about her mother and siblings. It is assumed that they might have died, but she doesn't know for certain. She didn't understand what was going on. She was lost and alone, and nearly starved to death, wandering the desert. A family of humans took her in for a short time. She used to live with people, but they too abandoned her when times got too hard and they could no longer afford food for themselves or her. Though their decision was hurtful, she still understood why they did it, but that didn't stop the pain. She's nearly starved to death several times in her life, and as a result, she is quite small. She learned how to catch fish in the Nile river, where it was very dangerous. With nowhere to go, she wandered the deserts of Egypt for a long time, before she found an Oasis. It was like paradise to her. The food was plentiful and it was safe; she could fish all day.

Shortly afterward, she found out there were other cats already living there... Unknowingly, she had stumbled upon Ankh Faction. The Council took a vote whether to let her stay or send her on her way. Due to her small size, they found she could move very quickly and she had good reflexes. She had proven herself an efficient Fisher, and since she was willing to work for her keep, the Council voted to let her stay as one of their own. She worked her way up through the ranks, proving that she was indeed worthy of their kindness. She's very diplomatic and charismatic. She is often sent as a messenger to invite others to feasts and ceremonies, when she isn't busy fishing for the survival of her fellow Ankh Faction members. She is somewhat afraid that if she doesn't produce enough food, they will abandon her too...

And I'm sorry this is so long, I'm mostly a writer and I tried to put a lot of careful detail and planning into this character. It was really hard to draw her, as I'm not used to drawing cats. I've never joined an RP group before, so this would be my first. 

Btw, this whole thing was drawn with the eraser part of my pen, as my nib is really worn down and I am waiting on new ones to get here. It made things like 10 times more difficult, at least. xD

I love her dearly, but it looks like our little group sort of died... ;n; Which sucks, but I can understand why, since not that many people joined or anything. It was a really good idea too and we had some fun RPs. But I've decided not to kill her off or stop using her as a character. Right now, I am considering making Chione sort of Kaline's feline version but in a past life when she was in Egypt. And/or she can be her feline form when she transforms. Just know that I am still working on her backstory. That's all for now. ♥
