Morphie... And her journey into darkness.
I personally am VERY happy with it and I love this. I never say that about anything in my gallery, but this is the exception. This turned out exactly how I pictured it in my head.

My only problem is that there does not seem to be a pink that's neon enough for her coloring. Her colors are meant to be neon pink and black. Only her eyes are purple. And I couldn't get the shading to work right. Originally this started out as a playful pic with her tail over her face all cute and stuff. Anyway, for those of you who don't know... Yes, Morphie is my Fursona. She's a shape-shifting vixen (female fox).

I made the lines myself, no reference or anything. Little known fact: I love foxes and always have. I'm pretty sure everyone expected me to have a cat for my Fursona, but LOLNOPE. c:

This is a very personal, emotional piece for me. I wanted to show how much darkness I feel is surrounding me from all sides lately and... I'll shut up now. Just enjoy the pic. Interpret it however you want. Just know that it means a lot to me.

Information about the character:

Morphie is a vixen, meaning a female fox. Her main colors are neon pink, black, and white. She has purple eyes. She loves dancing and music and going to raves at clubs and stuff. She frequents a cybergoth club called "The Tower". She can attack her enemies by using dancing abilities to hypnotize them. She then takes control of their mind until it wears off. It varies, depending upon how stong-willed the individual is. There are some beings this will not work on, as they seem to be immune to it. She also practices a rare form of dance-fighting in order to defend herself or to attack someone when the hypnotism fails. (It's mostly done with a system of magic spells.) She works for a secret organization but I can't discuss details about that just yet.

She is also a shapeshifter and has 4 different forms. Feral form, where she is all animal (her most common one), Hybrid form (human body and features but with animal ears and tail), and Anthro form (anthropomorphic fox). She cannot be full human anymore, but she used to be a long time ago. So far, she's only been drawn in feral form. So this contest is to draw her in her feral or anthro form only meaning as a non-human fox.

Also... She is my Fursona, and is very dear to me.

Other important characters:

(M; Meeci) Morphie's little friend, he goes with her everywhere and loves riding on top of her head. He is also a portable speaker, which comes in handy for her dance-fighting. Think of him as her own personal DJ.

(M; General Cassius) He is a really important adopted chara. He is Morphie's commander, and is responsible for sending her on various missions. [More info will come as the story develops.]
