They say it's lonely at the top,
but they have no idea...
I wish I couldn't tell
When someone's not being honest,
So easily...
It's painful when the mirror lies,
But you know what your true face
Is supposed to look like...
Things shouldn't be this way...
And yet,
They are...
So lie to me
Again.
Little hopeful whispers
Slowly die out,
Burning away our souls.

Ehh, I haven't been able to write anything worthwhile lately... Kinda burned out on it, maybe.
