Sleepyheads - Art Trade

This is my half of an art trade with the amazingly talented I finally finished it, lol. We both love Ace a lot and I thought it would be fun to do a One Piece OC art trade. When she volunteered, I had a total fangirl moment, I love her art, it's so amazing. ♥  

It's her One Piece OC, Umiko, with the love of her life. c; She's so cute and it was really fun to work with her!
I tried my best. I hope you like it.  I don't have too much practice drawing characters in profile view or with their eyes closed, but hey, there's a first time for everything and sometimes you just gotta roll with it. I had this idea and couldn't resist. xD 
I love Ace, but find it intimidating to try to draw or write about him. So I'm trying to change that and get over my nervousness.
I recommend to download this because full view still kills part of the quality, btw.

So what's basically going on here is... Ace has a sleep disorder, narcolepsy of course... And he fell asleep (probably some time while they were on Whitebeard's ship) in his room below deck, randomly, for a little afternoon nap (against his will, lol xD). He just kind of collapsed onto his cot, which is why the awkward pose. And well, Umiko-chan saw him sleeping and couldn't resist the urge to draw him, in all of his cuteness. >w< She loves him so much, it's adorable. <3 

About Umiko: 
She's asexual and has a huge crush on Ace, but she's afraid to tell him. (Thought he may or may not have figured it out.) 
Her devil fruit is the Yume Yume no Mi (Dream Dream Fruit). 
She is from the real world, Earth, but ended up in the One Piece Universe. 
She is a loner and also has sleeping problems (like Ace). 
She is awesome. I seriously think she's a very well-done OC. <3
